Bunge tapped for Beta Gamma Sigma

Eastern Kentucky University is pleased to announce that Chris Bunge, a junior from Lexington, Ky., has been formally tapped for induction into the Honor Society of Beta Gamma Sigma.

Bunge is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in the PGA Golf Management program at Eastern Kentucky University.

CIS Club Students Tour the Alltech Facilities

On Fri., Oct. 25, 2013, eight students from EKU's Computer Information Systems (CIS) Club accompanied by Dr. Robert Mahaney, Professor of Information Systems, toured the Alltech, Inc., facilities in Central Kentucky.  Students experienced firsthand the typical day of an Information Technology (IT) professional.

Finance major Jaylen Babb-Harrison a member of the Eastern Kentucky University men’s basketball team took part in the Colonel Basketball Reading Program. Babb-Harrison and teammate Tommy Matthews read to students at Silver Creek Elementary. Babb-Harrison is a sophomore at EKU and a native of Ajax, Ontario.

International Business major Emilie Simmons is a member of the Eastern Kentucky University women’s golf team that placed third at the F&M Bank APSU Intercollegiate. This is the third time this year that the women’s golf team has taken third place. Simmons is a freshman at EKU and a native of Marseille, France.
