Business student honored by EKU Co-op Office

RICHMOND, Ky. - Two Eastern Kentucky University seniors have been honored by the University's Office of Cooperative Education.

Jonathan Hubbard of Nicholasville was named Outstanding Intern Student of the Year and Andrew Hans, from Eaton, Ohio, received the Outstanding Co-op Student of the Year award.

Department of Management, Marketing and Administrative Communication students took third place at the 2011 Dr. Glen Kleine Spring 2011 Capstone Presentations.

The event was held on April 28, 2011 at the EKU Perkins Building. The very best College of Business and Technology student projects were presented and evaluated by a panel of judges and cash awards given to the winners.

The First Annual Risk Management & Insurance Awards Dinner was held April 19, 2011, at The Arlington Club.

Awards were presented to three groups: Lifetime Achievement Award Winners, Outstanding Alums, and Outstanding Students.

Eastern’s chapter of Phi Beta Lambda excelled at the 2011 Kentucky PBL Spring Leadership Conference.

Misty Brumley, a management major from Nicholasville, Kentucky, represented Eastern Kentucky University. Brumley placed first in both of her academic competitive events, Human Resources Management and Management Concepts.
