EKU's PGA Golf Management program will soon have a new golf simulator available to students. The new technology creates an indoor practice facility that helps students with their games and gives them an opportunity to learn how to use the latest technology on the market.

Newland selected as new Kentucky Section PGA Director

Kentucky Section PGA recently announced selection of Mr. Kelly Newland, Jr., as the new Director of Junior and Senior Golf.

A native of Grayson, Ky., and a graduate of Eastern Kentucky University, Kelly is from the Gateway Section of the PGA of America, where he has been serving as the Junior Golf Director.

The Pizza Hut “palaces,” the “sensory overload,” “scorpions, snake, and other mystery things ‘on a stick’ from street vendors” and every mode of transportation imaginable were only some of the many memories of an unforgettable trip to China for 23 Eastern Kentucky University students and two EKU faculty members.
