EKU Risk Management and Insurance acquainted students with their program at the 2013 Major Expo held in the Powell Student Center on September 24.

The Major Expo gives students an opportunity to speak with faculty about the many programs available at Eastern Kentucky University and to have their questions answered about careers related to their major of interest.

Scholar Athlete: Shelly Harper

Lady Colonels helped out a good cause at the Richmond Centre

Human Resource Management major Shelly Harper is a member of the Eastern Kentucky University women’s basketball team who volunteered at Tracks for Packs 5k Run/Walk. Harper’s biggest accomplishment was scoring a season high eight points in the OVC tournament quarterfinals during her freshman season at EKU. Harper is a sophomore at Eastern and a native of Cincinnati, Oh.

Mikal Harpster winner of 2012-13 Elbert Award

Eastern Kentucky University’s PGA Golf Management program is pleased to announce the 2012–13 recipient of the Dr. Norb Elbert Player of the Year Award is Mikal Harpster, a junior from Warrenton, Mo. Harpster was recognized at the annual PGA/GM spring awards event on April 18.
