Former Gridiron Great Returns to Campus to Mentor Business Students

As a three-time all-Ohio Valley Conference quarterback on some outstanding teams at Eastern Kentucky University, Jim Guice set individual passing records that stood for many years. His numbers were eventually eclipsed, but stories of his swagger and toughness resonate to this day.

Vincent Named Director of MBA Program

Dr. Leslie Vincent is the new director of the Master’s of Business Administration (MBA) program at Eastern Kentucky University.

Vincent joined EKU as an assistant professor of marketing in Fall 2014 after serving nine years on the faculty at the University of Kentucky, where she was actively involved in its MBA program.

Shearer Receives Top Co-op Honors

An EKU accounting senior has been honored by the University's Center for Career and Cooperative Education.

Sam Shearer, of Winchester, received the Outstanding Co-op Student of the Year award. He was nominated by his employer, Stacey Barrier from EnSite USA, Inc., for doing outstanding jobs in his co-op role.

Sharon Ritchey, Senior Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer, AXA US, was recognized by the Department of Management, Marketing, and International Business as Distinguished Alumnus for 2015. Ms. Ritchey provided the Keynote Presentation to over 125 MMIB Seniors for their College to Careers Conference.
