Which Management Concentration is Right for You?
EKU's College of Business offers students two concentrations to choose from in the area of Management. Students can choose from either a concentration in General Management or Human Resource Management. Graduates with a Management degree in either the General Management Concentration or Human Resource Management Concentration are highly qualified for entry-level positions in large, medium and small sized firms as Management Specialists, Branch or Department Managers, First Line and Operational Managers, Compensation and Benefits Managers, Human Resources Managers, Plant Managers, Financial Managers, Labor Relations Specialists, etc.
EKU's College of Business Management alumni have been placed at international, national, and regional firms such as Amazon, Brown-Foreman, Kroger's, Lectro Dryer, Link-Belt Cranes, NAACO, Sherwin Williams, Toyota Motor Manufacturing, etc.
Starting salaries for Management majors vary widely by th size of the firm, industry, work location, and functional areas. Initial salaries for management occupations range from $35,000 to $65,000 depending on demographics.
