EKU College of Business Alumni Excel at Valvoline

Dr James Kirby Easterling recently visited Valvoline’s World Headquarters located in Lexington, Kentucky to meet with EKU College of Business alumni and various executive leaders.  Valvoline opened their new World Headquarters in 2017, and Dr. Easterling was provided a tour of the entire facility which features an open office concept that maximizes employee engagement and collaboration.

Dr. Easterling provided an update on EKU overall, the College of Business, and the Supply Chain Management program to Valvoline’s executive supply chain leadership team and discussed ongoing collaboration and support going forward.  At this time, Valvoline hires more EKU College of Business Graduates than any other major employer in the region.  Brandie Dawson and Jonathan Caldwell are graduates from EKU's College of Business in Human Resource Management.

“I greatly appreciate Valvoline’s commitment to recruiting EKU College of Business students across all business disciplines. Touring Valvoline’s beautiful new World Headquarters and visiting with so many of my former students is an experience I’ll not soon forget.  Every former student I talked to is so excited about Valvoline’s potential for further growth, as well as their own career potential.  Having alliances with Kentucky’s leading employers only strengthens our Global Supply Chain Management program.”  - Dr. James Kirby Easterling
