EKU's College of Business Faculty, Dr. Michael Fore, Receives Recognition
The College of Business would like to congratulate Dr. Michael Fore for the recent publication of his article, Practice in the Pandemic, in the July/August Bench & Bar magazine which is the official publication of the Kentucky Bar Association that is sent bi-monthly to all of the organization's 16,000 members. An online version is also available here: https://cdn.ymaws.com/www.kybar.org/resource/resmgr/benchbar/BB_July2021.web.small.pdf. The full survey results are available at https://www.kybar.org/page/pandemicsurvey2021.
Survey data has/is being used to assist the Bar and Kentucky Courts with responding to the pandemic.
The Kentucky Bar Association (KBA) in conjunction with Eastern Kentucky University's College of Business conducted a survey on the impact of the pandemic on the practice of law in Kentucky.
The article is a summary of some of the key findings from the Bar Association membership survey conducted back in January. The results were also the subject of legal education panel that Michael Fore, JD ran in July as part of the Bar's annual legal education programs - Practicing Law in the Post-Covid Era. Positive Changes and Potential Pitfalls - https://cdn.ymaws.com/www.kybar.org/resource/resmgr/klu_materials/2021/NEW_2021_on_demand_KLU_Agend.pdf.
Further, Dr. Fore's presentation, The Impact of the 2020 Pandemic on Access to Justic in Rural Kentucky, has been accepted at the 28th Annual International Vincential Business Ethics Conference in October, hosted by DePaul University.
Again, join us in congratulating Dr. Fore on his amazing work!
