EKU's Psi Chapter of Gamma lota Sigma (GIS) Win Two Awards
EKU's Psi Chapter of Gamma Iota Sigma (GIS) won two awards from the Grand Chapter of GIS for their Chapter Management and Member Development. These awards were presented at Grand Chapter's Annual Conference, held September 29 - October 1 in Charlotte, NC. These awards recognize the good work of our students leaders and GIS members during the 2021-22 academic year. Our GIS officers for that year include Ethan Cook (Graduate in May 2022, currently employed by RPS), Brynne Galloway (Class of 2023), Benjamin Kibiloski (Graduate in May 2022, currently employed by Hull & Company),and Mary Robinson (Class of 2024). Dr. Lisa Gardner and Mrs. Debbie Ellis served as advisors for GIS in 2021-22.
Gamma Iota Sigma is the professional fraternity for collegiate risk management and insurance students around the country. EKU's Psi chapter is 1 of 100 chapters at colleges and universities across North America. It is the only GIS chapter in the State of Kentucky.
