Tabibzadeh Named Dyer Excellence in Teaching Award Recipient
EKU's School of Business is pleased to announce the recipient of the Ninth Annual Jack L. Dyer Excellence in Teaching Award. The recipient for 2011-12 is Dr. Kambiz Tabibzadeh, Associate Professor of Management.
Nominees were selected and reviewed by a three-member Selection Committee based on evidence of excellent classroom instruction. They also considered factors such as peer review of instruction, student evaluations of teaching performance, curriculum development, teaching load, and innovative teaching methods.
According to School of Business Interim Associate Dean Dr. Rita Davis, "The classroom is where our strengths and our focus should be. The award winner, Dr. Kambiz Tabibzadeh, has demonstrated excellence in all the criteria. He has been a positive influence on our students and his colleagues. He is a team player, flexible, encouraging, and supports the needs in his department. Dr. Tabibzadeh’s dedication and commitment to student success make him a worthy recipient of the Jack L. Dyer Excellence in Teaching Award."

The School of Business will formally recognize Dr. Tabibzadeh during the annual Jack L. Dyer Excellence in Teaching Award Luncheon on August 16, 2012. We are proud to have quality professors such as Dr. Tabibzadeh and pleased to recognize him for his efforts.
