On Thursday, August 12, 2021, the College of Business hosted the Jack L. Dyer Excellence in Teaching Award Luncheon to formally recognize and present plaques to the 2019-2020 and 2020-2021 award recipients.  As well, Mrs. Jerrilyn Dyer and her family were present to offer the award recipients their congratulations!

EKU's College of Business is pleased to announce recipients of the Annual Jack L. Dyer Excellence in Teaching Award. The recipient for 2019-2020 is Ms. Kim Kincer, Director of the PGA Golf Management Program.  The recipient of the 2020-21 is Dr. Cynthia Harter, Associate Professor of Economics and Director of the Center for Economic Education. 

BAC Member and Alumnus Dale Morgan Explains Foundation47 Guiding Principles

Dale Morgan received his BBA in Accounting (2009) from Eastern Kentucky University's College of Business and Technology.  Presently, Morgan serves as a member of the School of Business Advisory Council and is the recipient of the EKU Alumni 2020 Distinguished Service Award.  Morgan established Foundation47 in his hometown, Lexington, KY.

Eastern’s Maroon Chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management had the opportunity to listen to Sarah Hendrix speak on Tuesday, November 19th, 2019 at 3:30pm at the Business Technology Center in Room 003. Sarah is a graduate from Indiana University, was a student member of SHRM through college, and moved to Lexington, KY to work for Amazon immediately after graduation.

Foundation Professor Allen D. Engle represented Eastern Kentucky University as he traveled to Vienna, Austria on a three week trip over the past summer. He was invited to visit and teach at FHWien of WKW located in Vienna. Through networking at a conference with a Hungarian colleague, Dr. Engle was able to take advantage of this teaching opportunity.
