EKU's School of Business and the College of Business and Technology are pleased to announce the induction of business students into the Beta Gamma Sigma honor society. The new members were honored at a formal induction ceremony on Tuesday, April 18, 2017, in the Executive Conference Room of the Business and Technology Center on the EKU campus.
On Monday, April 17, Dr. Trish Isaacs’ ACC 527/727, Advanced Managerial Accounting Seminar, learned about several aspects of internal auditing and information technology for Alltech, an international company with headquarters in Nicholasville, Ky.
Twenty-three Eastern Kentucky University business students won 28 awards at the Phi Beta Lambda (Future of Business Leaders of America) Academic Competitions this past weekend. The Spring Leadership State Competition was held in Madisonville, Ky. Among the many awards was Third Largest Chapter Membership from 2016 to 2017.
When he came to Eastern Kentucky University from Pikeville three years ago, Dalton Stanley “would have balked” at the mere thought of speaking before hundreds of people or even privately to CEOs of large corporations.
But he was never too frightened to “see my weaknesses at face value and really tackle them.”
EKU Risk Management and Insurance is pleased to announce that Dr. Cynthia Bohn will visit EKU's School of Business to speak with students, faculty and staff on Thursday March 23, 2017. Bohn will be on campus at 12:30 pm in the Business and Technology Center, Room 179. She will be speaking on "How Women (and Men) Can Achieve Success in the Business World".
